Wouldn't it be funny after all this time, center is where he breaks out.

I have always thought Center is Scottie's best position. My favourite games of his have come when he plays that spot. I bought his jersey because this is exactly how I thought he would dominate the league. I was really frustrated by PG Scottie the last couple of years but this year he is finally starting to realize he is one of the strongest men in the paint.
My dream would be seeing Scottie become our starting center (Scottie is as strong as Draymond) then see Bobby make a deal for a Point Guard.
Hell while I'm at it, would love to see Dick get benched to give Lawson or Martin a chance with those minutes.
Can't wait to see RJ play more minutes and Walter is starting to look like a player!

Scottie had a pretty rough stretch for a few weeks after the Lakers game where he was generally floating around and not being near as assertive as he should have been without RJ/Poeltl while the majority of our role players were struggling, but he has still been a top 20ish player this season considering his two-way impact. Hopefully today's game is a sign of things to come (again) and RJ being back allows him play how he did for the majority of the first ~20 games. We're at the point now where I expect 20/8/7 type numbers (or better) from Scottie pretty much every game, but it all comes down to his effort and focus. When he's locked in, he arguably has the impact of a top 10 player.

Guy seemed to do just fine tonight.

He played terrible in 1st half. If you can't see it with him by now, you never will. Even when it's spelled it for you.

Yeah for sure. I'd just be curious to see other good shooters and how stretches like this line up.
My guess is it's a fairly regular occurrence.
Oh for sure. They get hot. They go cold.
That's why it's funny when people complain about Barnes having bad shooting nights when he isn't a natural scorer in the least.
Oh, Curry's last 5 games...shooting 24% from 3!
When the best can go cold, of course others can too.
So wait, does it deserve criticism or should we be more level headed and issue criticism on larger sample sizes?

Sure. He also was a huge reason why we won.
Overreacting to small samples, such as one half of basketball, is frankly just something I cannot say here without getting timeout'd for the night.
I know you are box score watching due to the 5 turnovers, but if you actually watch them they are not that egregious. There is two teams on the floor, and like 3 of those you kind of just have to say "yeah, good play GSW" rather than blast IQ for it. The 5th one was bad, but are we seriously raising the bar to "must play perfectly"?Spoiler:
He also took 5 shots offensively. Freaking out because he went 1-5 on a 5 shot sample is again, words I cannot use here. Especially when again, if you watch and dont box score surf, you'd know they were good looks that simply did not fall.Spoiler:
Like man - there is more to basketball than the box score. You can play good and have bad stats. You can play bad and have good stats. But far to often on this board guys look at the box score and that is how they decide how a guy played. We had dudes in the GT making fun of IQ's 0/0/0 stat line when he checked out in the 1st Q, but ignored that we had a 131ORTG with IQ on the court in the 1st Q. What was he supposed to do? Hijack an offence that was working to appease the box score surfers?

Scottie can't play center full time or even majority minutes like peak Draymond. He is nowhere as good of a rim protector or smart defense or as strong as young Draymond. GSW tonight were small and unathletic so it worked well.
