I used to be a big fan of his potential. His measurements are astronomical,he also has shooting range, combined with his interior presence gives him unicorn potential, but I think that he suffers from a Serge/ Precious like lack of wherewithall.

Overall, I'm quite excited about this signing! We desperately needed this ages ago.

Just need to step in here and say that Serge was a very smart player for us. Precious, yes absolutely, he wasn't the smartest guy and that held him back, but Serge?! He was unarguably one of the most integral pieces of our championship.

Days of there being faintest hope of Mo Bambe being a contributing NBA C is long gone. Naturally, Raptors have signed him. Guess, they couldn't find takers for their garbage backup SG's while helping shed salary at the same time. This team should not be a tax team as-is.

serge was good as long as he didn't the ball on the floor but he did develop a 3 and got better from high post and mid-range which helped us out tremendously

Take Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol off the 2019 team and put Scottie at center. Do we beat the Sixers? I think healthy Embid destroys him.

I don't think he's useless defensively. He's kind of average with a propensity to hunt for blocks, and fouls a lot. Has had some tough luck with injuries. Not Whiteside levels of braindead stat-padding play imo. Obviously hasn't lived up to his draft slot, but I think there is enough there for our coaches to work with.
