Oh yeah. All 47 games a year.
170,000+ killed and injured in Gaza.

Never forget the live-streamed Palestinian genocide.

Price probably just dropped...and the Raptors have the magic shoelace.

I'd much rather a Ochai for JHuff deal, I mentioned getting that guy from when he was on Washington a few games ago. He's like a taller Mamu

I want no parts of AD. We don’t even have an advantage creator good enough to even unlock his offence.

Apparently AD is looking for a massive payday before he succumbs to injuries for good. AD is gonna destroy the next franchise he goes to.

Only way I’m good with AD is if:
- we get a 3rd team involved for a starting PG, as it’ll take IQ/Poeltl to make contracts work

- we confirm Poeltl is damaged goods and can’t be rehabilitated to 100%, making him a negative asset

- don’t give up any firsts or CMB

- don’t extend AD if he doesn’t agree to a reasonable deal, we just use him as a 2 year rental. I don’t want any part of a massive 4 year deal.

I’d love Kyrie but he’s might miss the rest of the season.

We’re gonna stand pat. Time to accept it.

I'd use him as a two year rental as well, IF we went after him.

But the deal that works in the trade machine is this:

IQ+Poeltl+Agbaji for Davis+Christie. Maybe IQ is somewhat replaceable, and Davis is a huge upgrade over Poeltl, when healthy. I want a different look, and Christie gives us that instead of Agbaji. However, we'd now have to dump even more salary to duck the tax.

It could just be IQ and Poeltl for Davis, that works as well, but that also doesn't seem like a great trade for the team.

He doesn’t worth the max extension that he is looking for. It has a high chance to become similar to pg13 situation.

I agree.
I don't think we need to do anything rash. Unless they are sure it improves the talent level.

Yeah, the problem is that we see him off the court too much.

If you’re looking for a reason why a team might trade for AD:

Hawks don’t own their picks in 2026 and 2027. No incentive to be bad.

I guess only thing from Raptors perspective is management probably has a mandate to win and it’s a Hail Mary.

I’d take 60 games of AD and load management. But even such a low bar like 60 seems optimistic at this point and not worth the risk

is this the third injury he's had since it's been reported that we're interested in trading for him?

No to Ad, no to Sabonis, no to Trae, no to Lamelo. Stand pat, try to unload Ochai to get under tax. That's it.

From the Raptors perspective it's already been reported that they would be looking to get off bad money in the process and also clean up their books (aka IQ's contract since Fischer said they don't view Poeltl in that way and aren't looking to move him).

Which reminds me regarding an AD extension...he isn't even extension eligible until the offseason, unlike recent Pre-Agency situations like Ingram to the Raptors and Trae to the Wizards where they already were, and extensions could actually be agreed to at the time of the trade.

The entire notion that AD is getting an immediate extension with his acquiring team like other Pre-Agency situations is a farce. The acquiring team has until he's extension eligible in the offseason to decide for sure whether they want to extend him or not.

Don't think we have the assets Mavs are looking for ....Only way we get him is if AD and camp legit push for him to come to the Raptors only and demand a trade here....Hawks have more viable trade assets Mavs will value.

I think we will try to get guys at the deadline i just don't think we have what teams are looking for....These IQ/Yak contracts really messed things up because i think the plan when signing both was for them to both be playing worth their contracts and them both having value on the trade market and i think it backfired in our faces now we are stuck with them for the long run and all we can hope is they end up performing to what their getting paid...

We will go after Sabonis as well but idek if Kings would want long term money and they might value expiring deals....Yak/IQ would have more value right now if they were expirings...
