IQ and Jak contracts make me want to yak
No one wants Quickley's contract.
It seems Barrett/Poeltl/Agbaji for Davis/Exum, I wonder if we need to include picks.
After all, we are still over the tax with no good guards.

Bucks #2? With what? Sack of potatoes?

But god I hope we're not thinking of extending AD for him to come here.

Youre not the only one that sees those as bad contracts tho. When Dallas asks for 2 1sts on top, is it still worth it?

Definitely not.

He and Rich Paul are up to shenanigans with the ONLY goal being to land an extension. In fact, they have been pretty up front about their leaks, because all we have heard is that he wants a max extension. We have not heard anything about wanting to win, or playing for a certain coach or team. He just wants to get paid for the last time.

definitely a risk. Bigger one than Ingram for sure. Looks like Raps just want to steal him and maybe get off Poeltl's deal.
Lots of downside on this one vs potential upside of him being a game changer in a playoff series.
If the contracts lined up and it was Poeltl and Agbaji, I'd do it

What's in it for Dallas? My worry is that the Raps FO gives a pick package alongside bad money as theyre under pressure to win. Poeltl has a contract that extends 4 years after this...Mavs are gonna want a lot to go from AD to Poeltl (and they may have to eat RJ/IQ too, tho RJ is probably neutralish value at this point)

Rollins/1st/contracts (kuz/Portis). Contracts dont run that long and Rollins/1st is enough young talent, i guess.

Looks like AD and Rich P want him out of there and forcing them to take a deal at the deadline.

Sure, but salary dumps exist. Doesnt explain why Dallas would willingly eat bad money, unless there was a decent amount of incentive. And you'd need a lot of incentive to take on 4.5 years of Poeltl or 3.5 of IQ, at numbers that are a lot more than they'd get on the open market. You said the Bucks offer is awful, but thats a lot better than Poeltl/RJ and a single 1st. Portis/Kuzma is just better salary filler
