Playing on a bad team has an impact on a players net/plus rating. You focusing only on weaknesses is cherry picking, and doesn't negate the positives.
By your logic, Alex Sarr should have been traded, he had a negative net rating his first rookie year as-well.
Queen is actually older than Sarr right now and Sarr didn't stand still with his hands down watching guys shoot layups right in front of him.
I don't remember anyone hyping up Sarr as a rookie but I see that a lot with Queen. People like yourself completely ignore his inability to shoot and his Matador D. The fact that Erik has his own thread on a Wizards board just shows how over hyped he is
False, I fully acknowledge his weaknesses. On-balance Derik is having very good rookie year.
