I think the flopping thing has been blown up by social media. If OKC was the 5 seed and lost in the second round nobody would be talking about their flopping.
Someone decided to count how many times Shai falls down on a shot and it was 17.4% in these playoffs. That was more than other players but still not a big deal since people are acting like he falls all the time.
I have seen much worse flopping over the years:
Hooking an arm of a drive
Kicking leg out on a 3
jumping into defenders
Rip through when someone reaches their hand out
etc
