I'm pulling for SAS like probably 95% of the fans, the furor around OKC and flopping has almost jumped the shark for me at this point, but they are clearly the new villains of the NBA, but I think OKC takes it tonight unfortunately.

I think the flopping thing has been blown up by social media. If OKC was the 5 seed and lost in the second round nobody would be talking about their flopping.

Someone decided to count how many times Shai falls down on a shot and it was 17.4% in these playoffs. That was more than other players but still not a big deal since people are acting like he falls all the time.

I have seen much worse flopping over the years:

Hooking an arm of a drive
Kicking leg out on a 3
jumping into defenders
Rip through when someone reaches their hand out
etc

OKC ranked 17th in free throw attempts during the season, 11th in these playoffs.

I believe he fell down 6 times in game six. Looks like he was not getting rewarded with free throws plus the game was over, so SGA did not play in the 4th.

A lot of the game will come down to how much physicality the refs allow on Wemby.

I counted 3 falls on his 18 shots. In addition to those two he had one at the end of the half and that was it.

I also counted 3 falls on shots in game 5. He got to the line several times on dumb, off ball fouls by the Spurs.

Agree, but I am hoping for a surprise. I don't think Wemby has two games in-a-row like the last one, and OKC has more playoff experience, and of-course the refs on their side.

I actually think there might have been goaltending on the Champagnie block but looks like Wemby got the block clean. And clearly no foul.

Looks like the officials have cleaned up the officiating as well. Most of the game 5 fouls on SGA were well deserved (although people would still like to see the marginal contact called both ways). Still, doesn't mean that SGA isn't a flopper but now the NBA/officials have appeared to have cleaned it up.

Every time I watch Harper I think this guy should be on the Wizards. I don't do that for Flagg for whatever reason. Anyway, I hope the Spurs win.
