Portland went 2-1 against the Lakers last year. Two of the games were in LA and the loss came in overtime. Not bad for a team that lost 50 games.

Your boy charlie said he wasn't worried about Kobe when he is on. Clearly, you can't mess with Kobe when he is on. Blazers were up by 12 before Kobe hit four 3s in a row to tie the game. Then he finished the job in overtime.

Blazers are a good team, but to say they aren't worried about Bynum when he's basically destroyed some of the top tier centers in the league already and not worried about Kobe when he is on is kinda crazy

The blazers are young and streaky with different shooters getting hot(webster 24 pt quarter). If they make the playoff it will be against an elite wc team and they will lose. But in a hypothetical where they play a second tear wc team if they got hot they could win.

wrong again. 1) That amazing shot happened in overtime and by the time he hit that amazing shot, the blazers had already given up. I'm having a harder time finding your point. Is it that the Lakers have some talented players? Nobody is arguing with that. But Bryant plus Bynum isn't automatically a win, as we've already seen eleven times this season.

You are right about that. I missed it. Regardless it was still an offensive foul which you dont deny, and it gave your team a lead under a minute late in the shot clock. But your right non calls in the final minute of a game have no effect. Also explain how we had given up, we were tied and the shot clock was at 4 with 47 seconds in the OT. Your right we should have just called it there since clearly we wernt going to get a fair shake from the officials.

The reason its bull is because odom should have been the only one getting a tech there instead for some reason they call a double. Thus portland doesnt get one shot like it should have which would have resulted in us being up four instead of three.

Then you need to read better. My post didn't say anything about this year's Lakers' team beating this year's Blazer's team. I responded to Charlie when he said he wasn't afraid of Kobe when he is on. I then pointed a game where Kobe was ON against the Blazers.

You started posting irrelevant information by responding to a point I NEVER made. I never said the Lakers would beat the Blazers this season in a series. I said that it is silly to not be afraid of Kobe when he is on. Go back and re-read and tell me I'm not right.

They have played as many or more home games than any team in the west and have far and away the worst road record of the top 8 out west.

how about we wait till the blazers and lakers play each other and than we will see who is the better team, i think that portland and LA are two of the top 4 teams in the west, they both play great team basketball and have a leader who can control the game down the stretch. they have great coaching and are proving this year that both teams can stick with anyone in the league. i personally feel the lakers will go far in the playoffs (even though they are the devil and kobe can burn in hell) because kobe finally learning that he cant do it all by himself. the blazers are the ultimate TEAM, we dont have a superstar, not yet anyway, and they have better depth than majority of teams in the league.
if u ask me i say whoever has homecourt advantage in the playoff series between portland and lakers would win the series, simple as that.
