With Nash back I think we should have rested Marion. He seemed to tell journo's that he was good to go a day before the game but I think we need to be able to say just rest up until your 100%.

Prior to reading that Diaw had back spasms I was sure he should come off the bench. After todays game it def seems like it's worth persisting with this combo. Very rare to see Diaw *and* Amare having such good games. Nothing would be better then seeing these 2 continue to play well. Consistencies the key tho. If they revert back to their usual form together this game means very little in the scope of things.
I *was* expecting Diaw to have a monster game. I just couldn't believe that his jumpshot just deserted him that badly and I thought teams would eventually stop doubling him when he had a mismatch purely because Diaw hasn't been scoring big numbers but the opposition knew he would always make the right pass out of the post.
Good to see him punishing them. I just hope this continues. Not sure what we were doing on defense but our D in general has been atrocious lately. D'Antoni usually makes an adjustment but that only takes us to a little above atrocious. Def an area that we need to improve on. I think now that we are slowly integrating all our players into the offense, hopefully we can start concentrating a bit on not giving big men wide open lay-ups/dunks.
