At least the Knicks are better than the Sixe...nevermind.

Tell me more about the Knicks glorious future.

Lewis accounts for 26.5 percent of your teams cap number and you are happy he defers to two other players on offense. Nuff said.

Can you read? I didn't say you signed those guys. I said you are overpaying them. Your saying you would rather have QRich and Curry than Shard? If so you might be the next Knicks GM.
#1knickfan wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
Yes I would. Curry actually plays where a guy his size belongs and is half the price of Lewis. Richardson actually plays defense and rebounds unlike the other two. So yes. I would definately prefer having both to having just Lewis.
Cammo101 wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
However you want to swing this, Shard is averaging 19 and 5 on a playoff team, thus he may be slightly overpaid, but it aint hurting us any.

Curry is terrible at everything but scoring, and he doesn't even do that close to as well as Shard does. You make fun of Shards rebounding and defense but he is better at both than Curry is. You seriously are the biggest homer i have seen in here in forever. But fear not, you will get to keep your 2 scrubs and we will keep Shard. I wonder which team will be better off for this.
Good eye for talent Isiah. This has to be you right? There can't be another person on this board this dumb.

I don't care how you try to swing it there is absolutely no reason way in hell Lewis could possibly be considered slightly overpaid. That's like calling Rosie O Donnell a little opinionated.
#1knickfan wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
This coming from a guy who called a guy owed well over 100 million dollars to be his teams 3rd option on many occassions only slightly overpaid. Hello Pot....its me Kettle.

19,5,4, leading the league in 3's on a team with home court right now. Dwight, Jameer, Hedo are all locked up long term. Whether he makes 75 mil. or 115. mil. we are over the cap either way. So you tell me how this hurts us?
#1knickfan wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
Because you won't be a playoff team forever and when it does it'll hurt plenty. Winning has a magical way of making everything seem ok.
MagicFan3 wrote::rofl: @ Knicks fans saying they wouldn't do it. That's stupid even for you.

I'm not saying Lewis's contract is not bad. I am saying that the Knicks have done MUCH worse several times. At least Lewis is a talented player.
As to him being a "role player", what exactly is your definition of a role player? Lewis is our main option on the perimeter and a permanent starter.
