I don't think that's crazy at all.

I don't think Lewis is enough of an athlete to put on there. Dwight alone doesn't get them on there, either. Lewis is nothing that special athletically, but not really mediocre either. He's a fine athlete. They'd be in the top ten (like hard2hole put), probably.

Lewis hasn't exactly played like he's been expected to in Orlando. As well as not playing like he has in the past, and being at PF hurts more helps.

One of the five best rebounding duos in the league? I don't think so. Especially with Lewis at PF.

There isn't enough balance, diversity, and establishment from the Dwight/Lewis duo to put them on the overall list. As well as being a PF/C duo, at least for this season. I'd hope it's just for this season anyway, for Orlando's playoff success sake. Since Lewis (or Hedo) is playing PF out of necessity. Not sure if Battie will be back this season, and if so how much of a role he'd be able to play. Or if they'd get another rebounder/defender for Dwight. If Battie's not going to be back, I think they really should look to trade for a helper big for Dwight. The limited minutes Foyle plays, Hedo and Lewis, is not enough defense and rebounding help for Dwight. Doing most of that on his own won't work and is too much to ask of him, obviously.

When things get better and more like they should be, then I'll consider them as one of the best overall duos. But not on the other two.

Yup. More balanced, athletic, and versatile offensively. As well as meshing better.

just let people continue to believe bynum is part of a duo. really since when is 13ppg been apart of a duo. the lakers are kobe and role players. there is no duo on that team. its like trying to say there is a duo on the pistons when there really isn't one.

Name ten duos that can lock down opposing stars like they can while scoring 45 + on a gamely basis (although they are both a little streaky, but everybody has flaws).
I'm not saying they are the best, but they are up there (top 5-15). KG/Pierce are definitely better, and the Spurs and Pistons duos are more successful. But asides from those, there isn't many more that are better. BTW, not being top 15 means half of the teams have better duos than them, which is NOT the case.

Thats roughly 35 duos I feel are better than or on par to Davis/Jackson. And its also roughly 20 teams that I feel have a better duo.

Just looking at that list, I see several no where near the caliber of Baron/Jax. Baron/Jax are better than any Hawks, Raptors, or (playing) Wiz player (just check H2H matchups). And >=half of those duos are good offensively, but are defensive liabilities (AI/Melo, the Jazz/Wiz duos). Even so, Baron/Jax are one of the 5-10 highest scoring duos in the league at 42.6ppg. All of this while holding elite offensive players to sub 40% shooting nights and turning them into TO machines. Their two-way versatility, playmaking, and ability to draw doubles should easily make them a top 10 duo.
