You know, you guys can bitch all day about Jameer and it doesn't change the fact that he is THEE guy at the point here for the next several years. Might as well throw some support towards the guy. He isn't the worst player in the NBA like a majority of you guys claim.
Jameer can do a lot of things well, the problem being he hasn't done them together in a long while. There have been games this season where Jameer Nelson was the guy who's defense got the job done. Chauncey Billups is a 6 feet 4 inch pg, who outweighs Meer by 20 pounds. He's an MVP type of player, what the hell do you expect?
Jameer is a guy who puts forth the effort, he's not a lazy player, and he tries to lead too. I have a great deal of respect for him. I personally think he's got all the tools to be a pretty good player.
As for Arroyo, you guys are simply fooled by the fact that he's bigger than Jameer, as Carlos is just as bad on D as Meer is. Both are so weak it's not worth discussing.
I think that a lot of people underestimate Doolings worth. Whenever he gets DNP - Coaches decision, we lose. Dooling is by far this teams best perimeter defender. Sure, I agree his shot selection is almost as bad as Arroyo's, but the difference is, when I see Dooling take a bad shot, it goes in. He's a lot better than people think.
You look confused...let me fill you in.
