Magic & Kings
Salmons and Kenny Thomas
for Arroyo (ending), Garrity (ending), and Brian Cook.
Dwight, Foyle
Rashard, Thomas
Turk, (Rashard)
Salmons, Evans, Bogans
Nelson, Dooling, (Salmons)
The Magic get the best player in the deal (Salmons). Kenny Thomas can still be a fairly decent rebounder, so he might even prove to become a major part of the rotation. He's been stuck in the doghouse in Sac. The Magic basically spread their depth more nicely, and look to get back to the kind of play they started the season with. They get a lot more help on the boards, and should be more balanced offensively.
The Kings shed a whole lot of salary, and bring back a PG just incase they want to move Bibby elsewhere.

Well Arroyo would be more than filler if you guys did end up trading Bibby. Teams are going to be a lot more willing to take on Bibby if they don't have to take on Kenny Thomas. I'm sure Bibby would be dealt right after a trade like this. Salmons is solid, but he really is just a 6th man now that Bibby and Artest are back. He's replaceable.

This is true, Salmons definitely isn't high on the list of people that the Kings would more likely trade, but I think if the deal is right, Petrie would trade him.

This deal also kills the cap hit to Orlando, takes them straight to Luxury tax.

Both teams say no, but Sacramento has more reason to say yes (10 million in savings for two years and the chance Cook opts out.)
