Its obvious that Jameer has been struggling lately because of injury or the loss of his father, but to then take that a step further and say that Arroyo or Dooling is better than him is a fallacy. We may need a new starting pg going forward in the future, but the best pg we currently have is Jameer. Arroyo can't get the playground out of his game. He makes a lot of shots when he's on, but his showboat style keeps seeping through. Talk about a guy who often leaves his feet to pass btw, and Dooling has Francis-itis, he holds onto the ball way too long. He is however better then Carlos when it comes to driving to the basket and defense, but that shouldn't be the standard we should use to evaluate in keeping him.
If you have noticed, Hedo has really been our third string pg for good chunks of the games. Dooling is playing off the ball, running off of screens, while Hedo has been running the offense at the top of the key. Also, there are other factors here at work other than Jameer being out recently. Our intensity has gone up significantly lately. The way we've been playing recently as a team, it really wouldn't matter who our pg was.
All three of our pg's have warts. We have already invested in Jameer, I doubt he's going anywhere anytime soon. So that leaves us with what to do about Carlos and Dooling, both expiring contracts. We all know we need a big pg in our rotation, it could possibly be that neither of them come back depending on what we do at sg as well in the offseason, which would affect Dooling's status more than Carlos'. I say we keep meer, draft another big point, and look to free agency on the cheap to fill the third string gap. Then use the full mle to go out and get us a real starting sg for this team, thats if a trade doesn't come by the deadline to fill that need. I'd like to retain Evans if possible, as well as Kebo who is already under contract to come off the bench in reserve, and yes, move Hedo to the bench as well. We are currently a good team, but our goal should remain to be a great team. We don't have that yet with this roster, it needs more tinkering still.

it DOES NOT!!! What are the results with that rotation??? I'd stay put with Carlos and Keyon until we start loosing! Then experiment with another rotation!

So OK ... I think we get the point. Carlos Arroyo Sucks. I agree.

The Magic will need all 3 guards to win.
As others have said, each guard has significant flaws.
What people need to remember in here is that each one of the three guards will have performances that may literally dance with the wind.
The Magic guard situation is just a bunch of scrambled eggs, meaning you need more than one to eat breakfast......but put them all together and you've got a meal.

This forum is full of more idiots than I thought.
We're going to hit more bumps most likely, and you will be calling for Arroyo/Doolings head.. just look at when we lost a lot a couple weeks ago. If you think we're going to go undefeated,I'd hate for you to be our GM so you can trade Jameer while we're 5-0

This is an excellent point. If a team has three flawed, but OK PGs, then the coach will play each to their strengths. Depth replaces awe here.

I can't believe all the hate Jameer gets.
Jameer > Any of our PG's
Billups is just a match-up nightmare for Jameer Nelson. Billups is much stronger and much taller. But Billups is usually match-up nightmares of most pg's.
Jameer is bothering by his foot. I didn't knew he had a foot injury too till he left Charlotte and said that it's been bothering him for weeks but he agrravated it vs. Charlotte. We're 5-0 without him? We were 15-4 with him 100% too.

1. now, that is original.
2. some clever footwork to throw billups off balance might just do the trick.
3. fly like a beepitty, stink like garrity.
4. close enough.

the foot injury has nothing to deal with billups..it's jameer's performance

Fixed.
Edit: (In case people don't understand my "fixing", I reduced the size of the ">" symbols as I think Jameer might be better than the others, overall, but not by much, really. They are all pretty much in the same level IMO. Which is not a very high level, BTW. LOL.)

Holy Crap .... that was my closing argument at my last trial. I won of course. It had nothing to do with the case but it worked anyway. I guess they figured that if they ruled in my favor I'd shut up.
