That's actually a pretty good question. They seem evenly matched to me.
I'll take the West, though. With Kobe and Melo on the same squad, you can't lose.

Look like to me that the league did it on purpose after T-mac's comment.

It just proves that this whole Chinese internet vote thing is a big fraud. T-Mac didn't deserve it and he did not get voted in, but over and over we keep hearing about a billion Chinese votes...........
GJC wrote:J Kidd really doesn't deserve to start..... That honour should go to Billups. To the poster who expressed disdain over the idea China directly affects balloting. How is it that Yi had more than 100 thousand more votes than Caron Butler ,Yi's name wasn't on the ballot you had to write it in,?

Let's see here,
Yao
Amare
Kaman
Jefferson
Bynum
Camby
Uh yeah sure.

Watch a game with Camby. Hes having a better year than he did even last year on defense when he was the Defensive player of the year. He leads the west in rebounds per game, the entire league in rebounds per 48 mins, and leads the league in blocked shots with a staggering just under 4 blocks per game. He has also had 2 games with over 10 blocked shots, one in which was a triple double. He also is second in the league amongst centers in assists behind only Brad Miller. With his good ball handling skills he has the highest Assist to Turnover ratio amongst starting centers. The only reason that you can really have for any of those guys to be considered better this year, is gonna be points per game, which Camby can't compete in because of his 2 slightly high scoring teammates.
Im not necessarily pushing for Camby in the all-star game, but he has been a if not the top center in the west this year.

My problem is the sentiment he's "the best C in the West" that's obviously not true. The whole TNT crew was basically purposely stating something they know is not true. I have no problem if Camby gets on the all-star team and he's a very good player, but come on he's definitely not the best C in the West.

Umm...
Marcus is averaging almost 15 rebounds and 4 blocks, go ahead and compare the records of LAC and DEN. And the Nuggets don't suck defensively, they're certainly not great by any stretch of the imagination but they don't suck.
