He is a perfect change of pace guy, he completely changes defensive schemes against the Jazz which really benenfit both Deron and Boozer, he spread the floor, provides instant offense, and knows his role.
It really makes you look back at Giri and realize everything he did wrong for the Jazz, no wonder he made Sloan and Johnson so crazy.
If Giri had stayed with the Jazz, only taken shots off the curl and open 3's when he got them he would have been a much better player, instead he felt it was neccesary to dribble the ball every time he caught it and play ridiculously over the top defense to the point where it hurt the rest of the team.
Korver knows his role, plays it to perfection and never tries to be someone he isn't. He knows Booz and Deron are the leaders and he finds his place between them.
This was a great trade for the Jazz, he fits in the offense, plays smart defense, doesn't turn the ball over and appears to be a great locker room guy.
This was a hell of a trade from KOC and the Jazz and I commend both the Jazz brass and Korver.
