I want a true five on the bench that is not Rasho.
A player who is not a 4/5 or a 3/4/5 a guy who played high school and college at the five and ONLY the five who understands the position and can come in off the mid to end of our bench and play it intelligently with some rebounding potential.
I don't even need the guy to be starter caliber, I just want a younger guy who may need some development but at least fundamentally understands the center position as its played in the NCAA/NBA rather then guys who play a very euro five.
We will not win a title this year, so I am more interested in getting the right spare parts in place now rather then a rash move for the sake of making a rash move.
Someone mentioned Patrick O'Bryant? That works for me. Someone like Aaron Gray?
All the better teams in the league seem to have the means to go big or go small, and perhaps Bargs will end up being that "small" line-up center the reality is that we lack that "DeSagana Diop" factor.
