We're actually winning games now, and almost had a win @ boston. This is a different team then what you saw in november and december.
(hope i didnt just jinx it)
As a Heat fan, I hope you didn't either.

It's funny how many people are talking about the numbers he puts up. Who cares? Watch him play. He's an immensely talented player down in the post, and is a very good rebounder. He's a poor defender and passer. I doubt that he will ever have the same impact as guys like Duncan and Garnett, but he's certainly going to be in a few all-star games. Anybody claiming he's just putting up good stats on a bad team is ignorant.

I realise its not the same, but that argument is a lot harder to make for a post player than a perimiter player. The perimiter player on the **** team doesnt have to cope with the constant double teams, whilst a post player on a **** team does. He constantly will have double teams sent his way, and will have to actually work through said defence, to obtain his 'inflated stats'.
Last years Wolves were around 500 for much of the year. Especially before they fired DC.

They fired him 40 games in, that's less than half the year, not "much of the year" and we weren't anywhere near 500 after he was fired. Really we just had a hot streak in January (when Mark Blount was absolutely nutting on teams left and right) and that's it. We still had a 32 win team and both Boston and Minnesota overhauled their rosters outside of Al and Garnett.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Minnesota is not going to "win" the KG trade unless Jefferson can become a hall of famer, which I have no reason to believe he will. Trading a hall of famer away in his prime for one good player and fillers is not a win.

We weren't going anywhere with KG, keeping him would be a loss. At least with Al, we have time to put a good team around him(he's 23) and I think the trade was a win-win for both teams.
