lakers up by 2
17.7 sec detroit possesion

Chaucy dribbled past the right of key and shot a 19 fter that hit the rim hard... the ball bounced to princes hands at the oppsite side of the 3 pt arc and prince buries the 3.

lakers down by 1 4 secs to go

kwame got the inbound and passed it to lamar for an air ball

At this point, why even trust Lamar in the clutch. But from what everyone is saying, it seems this wasn't the "play", Phil has been especially poor with crucial moments at the end of games lately. Also, did Lamar have enough time to drive it in when he had the open lane.

Well, the last two close games, Walton and Odom got the last second shots.

At a certain point, the coaching staff needs to take some responsibility.

As we've played and lost to good teams in the past couple weeks, the preparation and discipline of the opponents have been decisive factors in our losses.

In my opinion... LO's obvious screw up on letting Prince get s set shot 3. He had plenty of time to make a play toward the hoop and or draw contact or make a runner for the game. His shot and subesquent airball is unacceptable.

We should really think about benching Odom in these situations.

You know, when things count.

LO had enough time to take 1 or 2 dribbles to get a spot up jumper or a floater. Problem was he was set up on the right side of the floor and he doesn't really have the skill to go baseline with his right hand. Instead he took the jumper just inside the 3pt line.

agreed...with that lineup u have to spread the floor...and with 4.4 secs...thats more than enuff for kobe to drive and take the shot...or dish it out to an open teammate

you are not going to have a open lane to dunk for a 4 sec play against the detroit pistons.

to win against pistons you got to have a slasher that can manuver through their traps and have guys that can hit 3s

Our guards looked so small out their tonight when chauncy and stuckey abusing them

Agreed. If Ariza was healthy, I'd have Odom come off the bench for good. I'm done with Odom. He's getting paid 1.5million a year per rebound, and he doesn't even get that done that well.

For god sake

Sasha, farmar, fisher, Radmonachich, KObe, Ronny. And Phil gives it to Lamar? Let alone put Kwame on the floor to handle a pass?

WTF is wrong with you PJ you senile old man its time to bury you in a retirement home.
