I can't believe I have to travel from Sunday to next Friday and won't get to see a single game all week...that sucks. Can't wait until I can see this team play with Pau.

Has anyone mentioned just how good our front line is on the free throw line? that is sick.. not only are they hard to defense because of length.. they can't be hack-a-shaqed into shooting free throws... 3 players in front line to worry about and making sure not to foul them... then u have to try and double team kobe without leaving fisher wide open at the 3 point line...
Sasha Vujacic = The Phail Machine = The Ring Blocker

Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

i guess this will put to rest the speculation that some had that buss isn't willing to pay out the big $$s needed to get a contending team. what are the lakers looking at luxery tax wise next season?

I'm so excited for you guys as knicks fan.. I am severely hoping for an L.A. Boston finals.. Still I'm afraid my head disagrees with my heart.. What if you play San Antonio? Parker will just headbutt someone. Bowen will kick Kobe in the nuts and put his foot underneath the spot where Kobe / bynum/ Pau is going to land whenever they rise for a jumper or rebound.. And if things get too dicey they'll bring in some point shaving crooked refs or get Stern to suspend some of your players.

Regardless, I'm rooting for you guys. Kobe deserves a ring that Shaq doesn't steal all the credit for. He's a champion in my book either way.

thats the only part I dispute because Stern would much rather have a Celtics/Lakers final than another ratings fiasco in San Antonio.

Gasol, 27, arrived in Washington late Saturday night after passing a physical earlier in the day in Los Angeles. He might play today despite missing three of the Grizzlies' last four games because of a sore back, although, as Coach Phil Jackson said, "He'd be totally uninitiated."Gasol was averaging 18.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and three assists a game for Memphis.

Wow... it turns out Kupchak is still an idiot and the trade was a fluke.

"Three weeks ago, we would not have made a deal," Kupchak said by phone. "But when Andrew went down, we didn't want to give away eight weeks. Lo and behold, Pau was available." - Mitch Kupchak

So he's saying if Bynum was healthy, he wouldn't have made the trade? Words cannot even express how ignorant Kupchak is.

Kupchak has always (or at least from the time I've been listening) down-played every sitution he has to talk about.

Yet, you don't hear any complaints from me, do you? LOL

Well trades do involve luck. Did anyone see gasol available for anything less than Kwame Odom an farmar for him an cardinal? Kupchak has worked wonders. In three years hes rebuilt a dynasty team into a potencial dynasty team. Rod Thorn hasnt pulled that. Dumars hasnt done that. Coangelo hasnt either. Ainge had 5 years of lottery picks and his squad only has a few years to compete for the ring. Mitch has been a beast.

Mitch is the Homer Simpson of the NBA. Lucky bastard.
