Yeah multifaceted is as vague a word as I could have used.
Basically what i mean is a playmaker who is also a threat himself - Someone on offense who can keep a defense guessing. Someone who you dont want getting a wide open shot, but who can create off the dribble instead. Off the top of my head, Devin Harris-ish. He can do either.
Kidd doesnt really blow by anyone cuz he's busy looking to pass. Even if he does, he usually gets blocked. Also, many teams will give him the shot as a game plan. Choke up VC and Jefferson cuz they'll take Kidd shooting 36% wide open. He is offensively one-dimensional (almost).
We dont really have anyone good at 2 things on offense outside vince and jefferson. It's not only that they are not consistent enough(even though they're not). It's just that they dont have enough helpful teammates. That allows defenses to make everything difficult for our go-to guys which maybe makes them appear more inconsistent than they actually are. If its 2 on 5 all night, how consistent can you expect a guy to be?
Wright cant do much with the ball except step out of bounds. I have my fingers crossed on Marcus though (help us!).
As far as consistent jump shooting goes, we could really use Curly back. Just a few easy pick and pops a game and we'd be a much better team.
