The relevance here for Raptors fans is that they play a style that at least echoes the Suns. They don't play at the same pace as they like to make sure Bosh gets his touches in the half-court, but they were built by Bryan Colangelo with an eye toward the efficiency of good three-point shooting and the possibilities of a diverse, skilled line-up in a period when the rules seem to favour slashing and ball movement more than simply pounding it into the post and waiting around.
The suns have given up playing the fast break basketball, and got a traditional centre. While the Raps never played as the same pace as the suns, it could be argued that Bryan is trying to build the team similar to the suns, with deadly three point shooting. Is this the wrong way to go?
