Will do.
I missed last night's game...one of the 2-3 I've missed all season. Judging from the comments--and length of this thread--it was probably a good game to miss.
It sounds like my guy EJ messed up by not playing BH when his defense was needed the most. Yeah, EJ screws up sometimes, some of you would probably say alot, but he's not going to get fired when he's playing with a decimated lineup and relying on guys who should be the 9th or 10th player off the bench. The whole world recognizes that so those of you calling for EJ to get fired should probably just get over it. It ain't happening during the season. Given how well this team played before CB went down (even without GA), I believe most fans (and Abe and EG) think EJ has earned the right to show what he can do with a healthy lineup.
Heck, most of you guys probably expected last night's game to be over by halftime and the Zards to lose by 30 points. The only reason we're even having this emotionally-charged discussion about the Warriors game and people are, once again, screaming for EJ to be fired, is because the Zards (and their coach) made the game competitive.
DCZ, I grew up with an alcoholic mom. Painful when someone you love is messing up and even worse when it directly affects you.
NO BS from me, Eddie needs to stop jerking Haywood around and he needs to stop riding Darius' jock.
Play Haywood more, I mean 38 mins at this point and don't play Darius, but instead use ANYBODY ... try McGuire.
And the isolations with Young are hurting more than they help at this point.
I truly believe Mason and Stephenson can get by in the backcourt and that Brendan needs to be just behind a healthy Butler and Jamison in minutes.
Eddie's making his own coaching career tougher.
If he would just follow these three rules: 1.Play Haywood and don't sit him much. 2. Don't play Songaila more than 2-5 minutes, here and there. 3. End the games with Haywood on the court.
MOST OF ALL: Check out what nate, myself, and others have dug up concerning HOW MUCH BETTER THIS TEAM IS WITH HAYWOOD ON THE COURT and forget whatever bias you have against Brendan.
This is madness what Eddie's doing.
I hate to see anybody fail but he's screwed up big time and IMO is lucky to have job security.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
