Luke Ridnour for Malik Rose
The Knicks apparently want Ridnour, which I guess makes some sense. Rose's contract is a year shorter and he's a good leader.

That would make Sam Presti laugh even harder....
BTW: Ridnour's a BYC player and the Knicks are way over the cap and don't have the contracts to Sonics would be looking for.
That's why i don't see anything happening between those two teams, as long as there isn't a third team involved, taking on what the Knicks would like to trade.

If the Sonics wants a shorter deal, they better trade him for an expiring contract and thats what makes sense.Ricepilar wrote:The Knicks apparently want Ridnour, which I guess makes some sense. Rose's contract is a year shorter and he's a good leader.

I understand the Knicks want L Ridnour. Because he's BYC the only way I see the Sonics accepting that deal is part of a larger 3 team trade where the Sonics take back F Jones' expiring contract.
However, having said that, I also agree with wiff that L Ridnour is not the right guy to be playing in the Big Apple subject to the associated media attention. But who knows, maybe coming in after a guy like S Marbury, a sincerely nice guy like small town L Ridnour would be a breath of fresh air to New York.
