It's absurd to say that he hurts the team. Some of you have no idea what you are talking about.
here is my opinion. Arenas makes his teammates play worse than if there was a real PG there, HOWEVER his offensive skill is so much higher than his teammates that it more than cancels out, so the Wizards are a better team with him even though he makes his teammates worse.
