Point taken, but to be fair, KG beat the Kings, but Dirk beat the SPURS. Also, when it comes to leading crappy teams (Minny >>>>>> German team) to success, Dirk is a master. He is basically the only German guy above NBDL level, and still Germany is able to beat Spain.
international bball suits better for dirk because he doesn't face these athletic defenders that he faces in the nba. don't get me wrong, I love what he's doing for us in the NT but the international game is easier for him to dominate than in the NBA because teams now know how to stop him
as for the topic: well I still remember how much of a beast dirk can be in the PO (I could recall all these great performances prior to his last 2 series) so it's tough to me to judge it. being a minny fan I saw a lot of KG action and I can quite well remember his 3 last PO appearances. when he had talent here he was a freaking beast but he never was that guy you give the ball for the last shot. he found other ways to dominate but sometimes whenever he felt like it's needed to step up, he actually did. ask the kings fans how he dismantled them...
overall I'd take KG but this is such a close distance between them. the reason why I take KG is (being a former KG homer aside) that KG always finds a way to dominate but when Dirk is quite locked up by an athletich defender he can't do that much to help his team or at least he couldn't so far. I really like it that Dirk started passing quite well this season.
