I'm not saying to do the trade. But this lineup would be just insane offensively.

Fisher
Kobe
Vince
Pau
Bynum

--or--

Kobe
Vince
Vlad Rad
Pau
Bynum

That's a NBA Live team right there!

Answer me that.

He's actually a really good passer. He can shoot and finish extremely well too.
I'd take him at the end of the season when he won't upset our chemistry and has time to learn the triangle but not now. LO is going to be a massive expiring in the off-season and could easily fetch us Iggy... who would probably be a better fit.

If the Lakers are considering trading for Carter, they might as well buy out Gasol and send Bynum down to the D league.

I can't think of too many moves that will abolish the Lakers' chances of winning a championship than trading for a loser like Carter.

I would not want carter on this squad. But I would use him in a trade.

Carter to Houston
Odom to N.J.
Battier + Snyner+ Francis (Expirings) to LA

I think that would work for all parties.

Lets heal and see what we have.

Financially and chemistry wise we are not gonna get any better than our additons of bynum and ariz. We need all the pieces that know our offense for the post season.

IMO we see whats out there for odom in the offseason while trying to move luke, and radman. If we can decide that we can keep odom at a "fair" and reduced cost while adding a effective "cheap" piece we will be set.

Why would Vince even come to your mind when you think of this team.

Or, why don't we just let Odom's contract expire next year if that's the case
