How are the Kings in a catch 22? They basically control the market with him right now or at least to a point. If they dont move him, the Kings keep an amazing player and have the upper hand to resign him. However, they also will have the ability to sign and trade him which could net a lot too. So until a team offers the Kings what they want, I dont see him leaving.
because every game that Artest wins you hurts your chances to land a top 6 pick.
Bobby Sura cost us a shot at Dwight Howard one year winning games while looking for his next contract.
If the lottery is not your short term goal at this point I apologize for bringing it up.

we would love for the Lottery but it wont happen this year, we are trying to dump contracts, get draft picks and young players with expirings.
so pretty much anything is possible, going from these articles and sports shows, the Kings are going to wait till the last minute, they basically have some of the last big name's that could teams over the top with Artest and Miller.

Word has leaked of a huge trade between the Seattle Supersonics and the San Antonio Spurs. Talks between the Spurs and Nuggets apparently broke down this morning. The Spurs will receive power forward Kurt Thomas, while the Sonics will gain Brent Barry, one other undisclosed expiring contract, and San Antonio's 1st Round picks for 2008 and 2010.

There I fixed it for ya!

Watch out for Artest...for the ATL pick.

**** Denver, if they wanna play hardball , trade with theSuns Petrie, get us some help in the future.
is ATL's pick protected ?
I don't believe so, but that's pretty irrelevant considering where they'll probably end up anyways.
On a side note, I really don't think I would like a Diaw\Thomas swap. Or at least, I would be very fearful of doing it.
