We like him. Now I usually don't speak for everybody, but I doubt there'll be much disagreement about that.

But really, without EB, our franchise is...well, take a look at this season. Elton is everything that a pro ball player should be: he's passionate about his craft, works hard, is a great teammate, a strong leader, he doesn't talk any smack, and he respects everyone around him. In my extremely biased opinion, he should be a Clipper for life.

I agree. I hope we keep him till he retires. If not we can always get everyone together, hunt him down, and tie him up somewhere in the staples center so that he'll be forced to stay.

I don't think anyone was "discussing it" at all...if you read the thread, the responses to the idea of trading EB range everywhere from "No, Hell no, and no possible way." There is no trace of any discussion pertaining to something so loco.
