You cant be serious about SF. There's not enough space to fill for the # of > I'd have to use for Artest and Dorell Wright.
Edit- NVM. Thought they started Wright and Marion at the Forwards not Haslem/Marion. Either way Artest>Marion.
Marion is at least equal to Artest IMO.
Marion is a much better rebounder, better shot blocker and shoots a better percentage from the field overall. Marion has averaged a double-double over a 9 year career. Artest has not come close to that.
Both are great overall defenders, Artest is an animal on D and a more physical player, but Marion's athleticism and long arms mixed with insane quickness for his size match up with Artest on D.
Artest scores more than Marion, but that is only because Marion was a 3rd option and Artest is 1st option. career wise Marion is the better scorer at a much better shooting %. Both are about equal shooting the 3.
they are equals IMO right now, I would take Marion if I had to choose one. Marion has had a much better overall career. IDK how you see Artest being better.

Artest is a better and more accomplished defensive player. Artest is a much more skilled offensive player in numerous ways, and is a match-up problem in multiple ways every night on both ends of the court.
Marion's more athletic, and is a better rebounder, but Ron's no slouch as a rebounder.
Marion gets most of his points in the flow of the game.
Stats don't really tell the story here.
While I don't see Marion every night, I've seen many games of him over the years - I'll take Ron Artest by some.
