Artest is a better player than Marion. No doubt. Ron's not shooting well from the field tonight, but that isn't relevant in general in the comparision.

Ron is like the only one being aggressive out there and going to the basket.

Get some damn defense on the interior in there with Shelden.

GET FREAKING MIKKI OUT OF THERE. Seriously wtf Reggie, he sucks. I want to punch Reggie in the face for leaving his useless ass in the game for so long. Is he trying to tank? He just took Ron out for Salmons... JOHN MOTHER F'ING SALMONS. Salmons has been trash lately.

This team is so disappointing at times. Beno is showing why he'll never be a starting PG.

You cant be serious about SF. There's not enough space to fill for the # of > I'd have to use for Artest and Dorell Wright.

Edit- NVM. Thought they started Wright and Marion at the Forwards not Haslem/Marion. Either way Artest>Marion.

Marion is at least equal to Artest IMO.

Marion is a much better rebounder, better shot blocker and shoots a better percentage from the field overall. Marion has averaged a double-double over a 9 year career. Artest has not come close to that.

Both are great overall defenders, Artest is an animal on D and a more physical player, but Marion's athleticism and long arms mixed with insane quickness for his size match up with Artest on D.

Artest scores more than Marion, but that is only because Marion was a 3rd option and Artest is 1st option. career wise Marion is the better scorer at a much better shooting %. Both are about equal shooting the 3.

they are equals IMO right now, I would take Marion if I had to choose one. Marion has had a much better overall career. IDK how you see Artest being better.

Yeah it's like Reggie is **** tanking or something. I don't know how Mikki stays on the floor, he must be pimping his mom out to Reggie or something.

Well, I'm thinking chalk up another horrible game... can't see them coming back down this much

I thought the Heat's mobility and athleticism would make it a competitive game, but not to play this well... damn

This is Miami's first game with a Wade, Marion, Haslem SL. They're better than their record in this form.

Artest is a better and more accomplished defensive player. Artest is a much more skilled offensive player in numerous ways, and is a match-up problem in multiple ways every night on both ends of the court.

Marion's more athletic, and is a better rebounder, but Ron's no slouch as a rebounder.

Marion gets most of his points in the flow of the game.

Stats don't really tell the story here.

While I don't see Marion every night, I've seen many games of him over the years - I'll take Ron Artest by some.

Did Quincy insult Theus somehow? How did AJ, a PG (one of the hardest positions to just be thrown into and play well), suddenly get MORE minutes over Douby? Meanwhile, Sheldon can't get ONE minute when all he has to do is screen/catch/rebound?

What did Shelden do to not get minutes? Nothing as far as I know.

Play him. Show some recognition to superior defense up front.
