you got it...but I agree that everyone shoult be given a second chance...its not that I laugh about the davis pick...hes just one of the guys that never would have been on my list...there is some talent left, that I would not touch just because of that (not now...if I would have gotten e.g. artest it may have been a different story)...if you compare the benches (see previous page) you can tell that some GMs only picked looking at talent and some with the focus on chemistry (on or/and offcourt) and I'm one of the later I believe

after all not a bad value pick and a nice sparkplug off the bench

O.k, but I'd like to think I am as well. Fisher/Dyess/Oberto/Salmons, I took into consideration chemistry/talent/character with my guys as well and while Davis is questionable in the character area, I believe I have the right guys around him to keep him in check. One guy doesn't kill a locker room, doesn't break chemistry, especially if you have vets and leaders who will keep his focus in the right place. It's when you have a team filled of misfits and trouble makers that's where you have the concern of a potential clash of egos.

I picked Kapono :)

Thoughts?

I know he's not a defensive juggernaut but from what I've heard, he's not HORRIBLE, and he's the best shooter in the league which should definitely help keep the floor spaced.

I was hoping he would be forgotten and fall to me in the 12th round, but that was wishful thinking. As you said he's one of the best shooters in the game, that's what he'll give you, great shooting.

i agree with this trade. i feel the play making ability of kidd was needed on my team with the sharp shooters i got. dirk isn't a bad shooter either although only ok on defense, okafor makes up for that.

just to make it clear once more:

the 11th round (next round) will be the rookie round. every GM HAS TO pick a rookie! later they can be traded or just given no playing time, but you cant waive them like other players after the draft always keeping the number of rookies at 16.

after the round no rookies can be drafted or picked up anymore (I dont think anyone would want to do so anyway, as 16 rookies dont leave a lot of talent).

rookies have to be rookies in 07/08, which means they need to have set a foot on an nba-floor until now...that said, e.g. greg odern or tiago splitter will be rookies in 08/09 and cant be picked.

Alright then from what the rules state, the Suns have decided on sending Tracy McGrady and the 12th pick in the draft for Vince Carter and Kenyon Martin to the Indiana Pacers.

I made a last ditch effort for McGrady, before the Suns G.M accepts the terms to this latest trade, can you check out my offer A.J? I sent it to your yahoo e-mail and I'd be willing to talk more into it if you like.

I think that trade isnt veto-wothy and therefore I confirm it(but you need more then my confirmance)!

can some else (either a judge) confirm this one and the houston-ny trade in order for me to make them official?

if you just dont want to confirm it, it would be nice, if at least judges could tell us!
