Seriously do you not have anything better to do?
Yi played quite well early on, so right then and there you were wrong on your inconsequential evaluation of our player. He is very talented, but also does not yet have the physical or mental toughness required both for the NBA and quite honestly to survive on this soap opera of a Bucks team.
Since his solid play in 07 he has been caught up in a inter-team control war and has hit the rookie wall. My only concern over Yi is his full time commitment to basketball. He will not be given, imo, enough time each offseason for rest, strength training and specific development. Other than that he is going to be a fine player in this league. An overworked rookie hitting the wall is not a huge concern and quite honestly given how much he's played and is going to play this offseason, its not a bad thing to rest him.
You see, Wright hasn't been worked hard and hasn't even come close to hitting any wall and I am glad you feel he's doing well. I have no opinion as I don't find the Warriors interesting enough to watch, but if Nelly is starting him, he must be earning it.
Comparing the 2 at this point in the season is worthless. Lets compare the 2 at the mid point of next year shall we? Not that I give 1 rats butt about Wright, but you obviously love to bash Yi, so I would be happy to revisit this type of discussion each year. Perhaps, just perhaps they both wind up being good players.
