Lake Show already seem to be in a similar place as the Spurs with many people.
Strange, but I can't really reach for these conspiracy theories. You do need luck to a certain standard (can't rely on luck at an above-average level), but ultimately, what it comes down to is playing that basketball game.
If you really are as reasonable as you profess to be in your posts, then address why a call goes against a lesser team such as the Nuggs and then is not called on the Spurs. You are smart and insightful but cannot defend the calls in the game between these teams tonight and said calls certainly affected the outcome.
I've said it many times before and will say it again - conspiracy in this world is not possible. I know that there are no back room meetings picking the Spurs to win. However, the NBA officiates games based on preconceived notions and assumptions and reputations. Because the Spurs are good and considered good on D, they get away with more.
I suggest calling a foul a foul (which would result in Bowen fouling out in the 2nd qtr every night) regardless of the player or team that commits it. If the NBA resolved to do this, people would once again watch it on TV. If not, they will set another record for low ratings.
