I don't think you can label him as anything. Consistency is a state in which you're taken for granted. When people stop talking about Odom, that's when we know he's arrived.
The conversations will go, "dude, remember back then when we had all these arguments about Odom? Man, he's come a long way since then."
It's kind of like the thing with Vujacic. Remember the time when he used to be only a practice player? Now, everybody expects his shots to go in every time.
Now, he's the Machine, not that Slovenian kid who needs a sandwich and a one-way ticket out of Los Angeles.

It does look like it for now , and I hope he keeps it up .
What about his interview , STARIGHT O.G , triple O.G .
He kept looking around and pointing everything out with his fingers like he was drawing up plays for us as he was talking .....

Classic ........

Is Lamar playing like this because he feels like the Laker's org. may see him as "expendable" now that Pau is here? A kind of "I better play like I've never played before, before they fire me"?

Maybe maybe not , Yet since we did aquire Pau and Bynum was playing good ball ,I think it has taken a lot of focus off of L.O's back of being the 2nd option .
I think L.O has always had the desire to win its just he is at times ... lets see whats the right word to use .... Weak or Not driven when there is presure on him to do well .
Now that this team has gelled and we are no longer looking at him to be that other go to guy he is more relaxed and he has accepted his role as the 3rd or the 4th option and I think thats the reason he is doing well not .
Just like I mentioned on the G.S Lakers thread , in his interview he stated that he did realize that he isnt doing good as far as scoring , so he pickup his game by rebounding more and contributing in different areas of his game to help this team win more games ...
Props to him ....

Excellent win by our team yesterday. I was only able to keep watch by the sportscenter ticker so I read this whole damn thread today.
I understand the emotions that flow watching us shorthanded but there was a extremely high level of B**CH-AZZNESS(
) from many posters jumping the gun on us pulling this game out.

Odom plays his hardest and best at the end of evey year going into the playoffs. I expect it to continue - but it's also what can be so frustrating about him. He has a tendencey to just coast and not play with the same intensity mid season.
Injuries have taken their toll on him as well the past few years. He looks healthy and Pau coming along was a boost of confidence for him to do the things he is good at - which is a little bit of everything.
The 2 most things about LO for me right now? He's finishing with dunks more often and finally blocking and even attempting to block shots. That focus and aggression are where I see and appreciate his recent transition the most.

You actually give yourself credit for an ingorant and low class post like this .
No wonder most boards think's Laker fans have no class and respect for others.
When you post crap like this, not only you make yourself look like an idiot and an A55 but you make the rest of US real Laker fans look like an A55 and lowclass fans .
You actually think we're going to give you props for posting this garbage ?
Man GROW UP . Please .
What's wrong with you .
First of all, [removed].
I have been a laker fan for 20 years, longer than most of these band wagon fans who jump ship when the lakers are playing well.
If you cannot take a joke, that is your problem not mine and has NOTHING to do with what people think of laker fans.
Instead of crying about me having pride in my team, how about directing your sexual frustration towards these "new" laker fans that have began popping up recently acting like they were down with the purple and gold all along but last year were cheering the suns in the playoffs?
I have supported this team through the good times and the bad and you better bet removed that I am going to talk crap to other teams about our squad and build them up. We deserve it.
Don't bust this holier than though attitude on me .

I am a laker fan till I DIE.
