if your accepted in the u.c. system perhaps take alook at ucsd, or davis...berkeley would also be a good compromise between gaucho debauchery and banana slug hippiedom...

telling ya bro the ls400 is the only way to fly...cannot go wrong there...

I'm thinking about a 2nd masters with Multimedia and Creative technologies major. A lot could depend upon whether they want to fund me though. Just wonder about the possibilities in LA with that kind of a major.

UCSB Grad

If you go there, you'll have hot chicks everywhere, live in best city in California, and get to hear me play music a couple times a month. How can you beat that?

I have a car problem. My benz wont start. I drove it a couple of days ago and then I went to take it out today and it wont go. It has gas ;) and it starts then it just dies out..

Any suggestions ?

Phil it would be so much easier for you to grab the phone and call me while your standing next to your car .

I can diag it while your giving me info about it .
Like sitting in the car and telling me is you hear a hissing sound when you turn the car on , I can tell you what fuses is for what .... Where the general Module is at .....
So if you can hit me up and lets see what we can do , the 2.6 is very easy for me to diag over the phone .

Oh and Trixxx .......................

I have this very very nice Volvo 240 dl ....
very nice car it only has 75K miles on it and my pops bought it from a customer of ours that had it sitting in her garage for 7 years ....
All new belts , Timing belt and tensioner , water pump , tires , bushings , Battery , seal ....cam and crank .....
Im telling you if you want a car with no headaches or problem , cheap on gas and Insurance , then this is the car .
His trying to get 5K for it ....
I mean I know its not a pimp ride but if your in school and your trying to save money and not having to worry about getting stuck with car problems or car payments .
This is the car , its actually a little pimp .
Its white with tinted windows , I gave my pops a brand new Apline deck with Diamond audio speakers ....

Let me know if you want I can post pics .

Thanks for that. SB sounds a lot more like me.

BTW, i've heard of the 30-40k crowds on Halloween already. Anything else I should know about?

He's totally right about Halloween. Stay in, don't get paddy wagoned for nothing.

Here's some more- keep your cup upside down when going from kegger to kegger.

Don't join a frat totally unneeded at SB due to the density of the student population. IV is the most dense population west of the Mississippi

If you can't choose a major:

Engineering is where the money is if you can hack it
Communication is where the girls are along with Psych, but comm has more money making power in my experience.

Phil it's simple, you turned off the car with it still in drive, then left it there for two days.

BTW, I'm tired of seeing 2+ year old commercials... it's bad enough that there are so many, they should mix it up.

*this came up due in part to Shaq's icy/hot commercial

Tony, just wanted to say you did a nice job of interacting with the GS board without trolling. Nice work.

The 190E is a solid car. One of my best friends had the 4 banger, 2.3L version. Never gave him problems.

I can think of some great uses for that thing. I think it's kinda awesome as a shag wagon. Needs more tinting and mattress in back.

Not that easy to park, maybe

meh, you make your own parking...

like at a park, or a cliff overlooking the ocean, or Six Flags Magic Mountain
