Nice game by the Sixers. They were not at their best defensively but they picked it up in the second half and held the Nets to 40 pts. We are all waiting for the playoffs now to see how things go in that environment. That will be a first for most of the players on the team.
If you cannot convince others that you are right, you probably aren't.

The only way the Nets rise from the dead is, if we sweep Atlanta. We have pretty much crippled the Nets season.
What I like about tonight's game is, Iggy only scored 6 points after the ist quarter. Carney had 2 trays in the 4th quarter, with 1 big defensive mistake that lead to a tray. Our bench tallied 33 points, on a night we did not have to rely on Young neither.
This was clearly a take care of business game, which is not the case over the next 2 games with the Hawks. This is called war.

Don't let their recent win streak fool you... the Hawks are a bad team. They've won 4 games in a row... do you know who they were against??
at home against the Bucks
at home against the Bulls
at home against the Knicks
on the road at the Grizzlies
Which of those teams has something to play for? Which of those teams stand to gain something from losing??
I have no doubt that we win the 2nd of the two games against the Hawks and I feel pretty good about the 1st one as well.

Agreed. It takes courage as a coach to send out such a young and inexperienced line-up down the stretch. That kind of confidence in guys like Lou, Carney and Smith will reap rewards in the future- and fortunately was rewarded by a solid closeout win.
Great to see Lou again demonstrate he's got icewater in his veins. Can't wait to see him closing out games when he is in his prime (in 4-5 years?) Man these guys are young... and clutch.
