Hornets, Spurs, LA, Utah, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Denver Golden State would be #3 behind Boston and Detroit.
Portland and Sacramento would be #5
That's messed up.

Well in the cases of the Hornets, Spurs, Lakers, and Suns I would be happy they are in the West. In the East only the Hornets have a shot at even the #2 seed (and the Pistons have the tie breaker over them), while in the west they all have a shot at #1. You could probably throw Utah in there as well.
Dallas, Denver and Golden State would benefit, though I wouldn't dismiss Orlando who currently has a better record than all of them.

theres only 2 teams back east that can seriously be considered championship caliber.
currently, there are 6 teams with over 50 wins out west. maybe more depending on what the bottom 2 can do in the last few games. i believe dallas is at 47 and denver with 46.
east has detroit and celtics over 50 wins.
i can say this, each regular season game in the WC has been a playoff atmosphere type game. very exciting to watch. the top contenders vying for top position. and the bottom teams just trying not to get flushed out to 9th position.

I've been defending the Kings for a while.kingsfan10 wrote:Wow, a Dallas fan saying something positive to the Kings? Impossible!
You know as well as I know how much even you and I went back and forth (in rivalry), but IMHO, Kings are as good as the Magic.

I just call it like I see it. Oh, and I try to say what I think in the most controversial way to get my point across. Like the lobbying of Harris >>> Kidd (for the Mav's system) months before the trade. Sometimes I just see things that are so obvious that I can't believe others don't see it too, like a healthy Kings are as good as if not better than the Magic. Then sometimes I am just blind sighted...like predicting the Bulls will make the Finals before the season started. WTF was I thinking? I knew most of them would be playing selfish ball for contracts and I still picked them!

But yeah, again you can make an arguement that the Kings are at the level of the Magic or if not better. I dont want to argue with this issue because many people are totally against this thought. But oh well. They will know the real Kings next year when healthy.

The Celtics are 25-5 against the West.
They have performed better against the West than the East.

Celtics would be at 70 wins right now but they take nights off and get lazy because the play in the East. Unfortunately, quite a few times this season, the Celtics have played down to the level of their opponenets. If they were in the West they'd still be #1 seed and this will be proven when they are the official #1 seed in June.Duiz wrote:People are so silly. +1 but it'll be 65ish, not 70.
