Agreed.

And still a quality role-player.
A lot of players are/were old, but still effective to different extents.
Dikembe Mutombo is old. But his aging hasn't really mattered because of how good he was earlier in his career, and hasn't had any significant injuries.

and if you have a look at the bowen/paul replay you will see it was in fact chris paul playing dirty.
That's a tremendous post. It's truthful in relation to obvious material.

You do realize with that kind of contact there is possibility for a concussion?
What a disgusting thought of request. Even if you overreacted from looking at/reading the list of those clips, and your feelings on Bowen's play - that's just awful you had that thought in your mind, and then actually communicated it.
Suggestion: control the mentality.

How do you know Bruce is a bad person? You don't. I understand why you think he's a dirty player, but from what i've gathered over the years Bruce is a class guy.
What an ignorant, ridiculous statement. This is about basketball here, not the guy's life outside of it. If you mean basketball, then indicate something to it.

Yup.
Boston plays great, tough defense. But while they have had to gel for the future being together for the first season, I don't think they had to go all out like they have almost every game in the regular season.
I don't think they're the favorite to win the title, though. A favorite? Absolutely. I love to watch Boston.
goo kennedy wrote:I just don't get how people still blame Horry or the Spurs or David Stern for what happened last year in the playoffs. Everybody and their mother knows the rule about getting off the bench during a fight. Every (decent) coach knows that the first thing you do when a fight starts is that you make sure that nobody leaves the bench. How Stoudemire and Diaw, and the Phoenix coaching staff remain blameless in all of this is beyond belief. They are the victims? Give me a break. They are idiots. When you're that mentally weak, you don't deserve to win a championship.
I feel similar. Especially when none of the Spurs players went away from the bench during that schmozz, and Raja Bell escalated things after Nash went down. Nothing was going on for some seconds with Horry walking away after he committed the hard foul - and Bell gets up into Horry. Especially with Horry walking away from Nash after there, that's even more of a reason not to do anything. Understandably, you want to see/know if Nash is alright, but they should of had better realization of things.
The Suns just lacked mental focus there, and I've noticed over time this gets overlooked quite a bit. If Phoenix handled themselves better, the NBA doesn't enter into it as a factor, because they kept their cool.
