I think what he means is that Kobe's mere presence is opening up the court for everyone else. Even though he might not be directly setting up the baskets, Denver is so focused on where he is that everybody else has more space to operate.

It's a fair point, but it still doesn't change the fact that he's playing like garbage. We need him to step up in the second. Or at the very least, quit jacking up 3s.

thats part of the price they pay for having martin on the perimeter guarding kobe.

martin is doing a great job of staying in front of kobe, but still causes mismatches elsewhere.

oh..got it

either way...i know its hard for kobe to get around martin, but that dont mean he can just shoot 3s

the refs will give kobe some calls...all he needs to do is attack..attack

Agreed. But frankly, offense doesn't seem to be much of a problem for us, at least not when we're making the effort to pound them inside. It's defense -- as usual -- that's causing us the most trouble. We started off pretty well but Denver has itself in a nice little rhythm at the moment.

for all the breaks that people are talking about that are going towards the nuggets, i wouldn't count on ai missing 5 free throws again.

kobe just looks tentative. he attacked the rim kinda weak right there, lost the handle, and forced a tough shot.

Ramanovic is such a cream puff. He's got six inches on his man and the best he can do is chuck up two terrible jump hooks. It's like he's in a perpetual summer league game -- no effort, no intensity, no thinking.
