Melo's folding at the perfectly wrong time once again. A career playoff average of 40% shooting? Ouch.

Impressive win by the Lake Show, though not quite unexpected :)

Denver continues to be an inconsistent at best defensive team, thus not a respectable defensive team.

Odom had another one of his solid all-around games, so fun to watch

Gasol played just awesome, monster game

Kobe scored enough for sure, and didn't have to do as much with others picking up the offense

Denver's going to have to buckle down somehow and defend better, and make smarter decisions offensively (which also effects your defense). Not sure how much they'll be able to do that, though.

Kobe being interviewed at the end could be due to the fact that Gasol was interviewed at halftime....

Lakers win, Kobe doesn't play well-----> Kobe has the best supporting cast, Kobe sucks

Lakers win, Kobe plays well-----> he has better teammates make his job easier, he is cocky

Lakers lose, Kobe doesn't play well-----> Kobe sucks, Lakers are overrated, 1st round exit

Lakers lose, Kobe plays well-----> ball hog, he can't make is teammates better

I obviously realize that..

it's a SEVEN GAME SERIES though..Kobe is obviously going to have a huge game at some point..this isn't the only interview..they could have interviewed the best player today, which was Gasol..and then interviewed Kobe in another Lakers win, where he has a great game..he's not going to shoot 9-26 every game..

Manu? why would they interview Manu? Duncan had 40, 15, 5 and 3, including the most memorable shot of the game that sent the game into double OT..

I would've interviewed Gasol if the decision was mine, but I don't blame them for interviewing Kobe since he's one of the biggest stars in the NBA.

Wait.. Who cares anyway? It's just an interview. Doesn't mean anything at all.

kobe stat padded in the fourth quarter and robbed gasol from getting triple double. He only needed 2 assists.

it means something to me..

I'd like to see Gasol get some spotlight with the interview after the game on national TV, after the best game of his playoff career..he deserves it..

George Karl stupid coaching cost Denver. Carter starting the game are you **** serious? Carter should not see the court unless AI is out the game. I rather run Steven Hunter tall ass at point.

this is such bull..he stat padded in the 4th when the game was pretty much over, against a team that gave up and don't play D..he shot terribly..god damn..I guess scoring overshadows EVERYTHING..

the overhyping of Kobe Bryant..it's so great..

why do heat fans hate kobe so much? is it because they realize that wade will never hold kobe's jock strap?

I agree Gasol had the best performance overall, but I think the interviews are also based on halfs. Gasol had an amazing first half and was interviewed at halftime then kobe basically scores something like 28 points in the 2nd half, so he was the closer of the game and therefore gets the closing interview for his 2nd half performance.

Nuggets are in good shape after this game. If they it their freethrows at a half decent clip they would have been close to stealing this game. Definately expect both teams to hold their homecourts.....once a team steals one on the road, the series is over.
