Ok, we all see Denver is really struggling and needs to make changes.
But all this Golden State talk is annoying as hell. If they were so damn good, why couldn't they beat Denver when it really mattered? Why couldn't they win the game after that? They're not a better team than Denver just because they happened to upset Dallas who is down 2-1 this season too.

Kobe's game is so much more cerebral this year than other years. I don't know if that's a function of just having that many more weapons at his disposal this year, or what, but the way he probes defenses has been phenomenal. You can see it in the 1st quarter, the way he uses that at his jumping point for the rest of the game.

I blasted your theory before this series started and I'm bustin you again. You don't make statement base on a unfounded facts.JordansBulls wrote:I thought Denver could actually upset the Lakers in this series. I was wrong. Kobe and the Lakers are just too good for them.
Denver showed absolutely no evidence what so ever that they were going to be able to beat the Lakers. What you fail to realize is that Pau wasn't even on the team when the Lakers beat them this season. One game saw our 3rd guy at center Chris Mihm starting and having a decent game.
I can see if Denver played any kind of defense and had a team that was composes of solid defenders but they only have one. Bottom line your theory was irrelevant and maybe base on the fact you HATE the Lakers and thought the Nuggets had a more than good chance, sure every team has that in theory but in reality Denver was never going to beat the Lakers and anybody who knows basketball knew that.

i think its because he has so many options this year because he was capable of this type of elite play for 3 years now. the cerebral improvement part that you mentioned unnoticed probably because of his lack of trust/ the lakers lack of talent.

Kobes not playing any better this year then they has the last 7 years. The only thing different about Kobes game this year is he has someone to pass to. Not butter fingers and Smushed Parker.
When its safer for Kobe to take a contested double teamed 3 from 40 feet out then give it to kwame for a wide open dunk you have a problem.

He's playing differently. He used to spend the first couple quarters passing the ball at every oppurtunity (even when he probably shouldn't) then go into super-chucker mode in the late third and fourth quarters. Now he's playing a balanced game and it's been much harder for teams to defend.

Does anyone know the Lakers is staying in Denver or go back to LA after game 3? I have heard that the high altitude only affects you after a day. So will it be wise to go back home rather than staying in Denver?

I would rather sleep at home after game 3. Then the team can have practice today at some time in LA and go to denver at night.

ehh......ill agree for the most part, he has been alot more balanced this season. But i can tell your a laker fan. So you have to agree, he has done what hes done in the past to get it done. I mean. 40 foot threes contested were neccesary when smush and kwame blow bunnies.
