And there are people who think Kobe is better than Michael Jordan, what's your point?

I don't know what you are trying to prove, Chris gets a lot of hype, but nothing like Kobe and LeBron.

I don't understand people who show up in threads just to downplay someone's accomplishments.

Chris Paul, what a typical American name (first and last).

Well, if CP3 can keep doing that at 32 years old THEN we can put him in that pantheon of names.

Think CP3 could score 42 points playing center in the biggest game of a series?

Are we seriously considering giving the MVP to a guy who has 2 first names?

It reminds me of the Saints. Payton gets coach of the year, with Drew Brees as a runner up for MVP.

That has to be taken into consideration, and it's clearly something that works against CP3.

Seriously, if your middle name is Bean, and you can still sh*t on your opponents, that has to be bonus points.

Good point. That might just be the tie-breaker right there.

I don't get it, what was your point here, just wondering?

Yet another reason why Kobe beats out CP3 for MVP:

BSPN wrote:On his website, Lamar Odom tells a funny little story about a Laker team dinner, just before the Denver series, at a high-end steakhouse.

Odom says the place can be "rather expensive," especially, you'd imagine, for a large group.

When the check came, Kobe Bryant reached out his hand for it. "As soon as he picked up the bill," says Odom, "we all started chanting 'MVP MVP MVP!'"

Quite amazing indeed.

Would CP3 buy his teammates steaks and get an MVP chant? It's highly unlikely.
