Well, he had Kobe try to block it, and then Derek fisher followed it right after.

Yes. As would most of the NBA's GMs polled earlier this season.

I'm a little late on this, but to some Rockets fans in this thread (you should know who you are): Could you guys at least try to make it look like you're here for some reason other than to talk s**t to Jazz fans? Thanks.

If Booz would just show some effort on D, well on offense and everywhere else also.

It's fun watching these two teams play. They're like the same team. System half court offenses. Both teams passes the ball really well. I like it

Okur has played really well tonight. He's about the only one for Utah.

To sportsguy, it's hard to tell what would have happened. They're both suited to where they are. Paul in Utah wouldn't be nearly as good, but I don't think Deron would be putting up Paul's numbers in NO either.

I would take deron over paul also. New Orleans' offense greatly inflates paul's stats imo.

pau's too passive sometimes. He needs to start demanding the ball more and go to work.

Jazz are actually playing a nice quarter.

Too bad they probably dug themselves too deep a hole for it to matter.

I take it back, they are doing a terrible job of defending the 3.

Yep. This one's just about over. Good start, LA. Taking care of business at home in the opener.

Some of this looks like LA-Denver first game. The Jazz will adjust their transition D as the series goes on.
