Thanks for posting this, Shrink, looking forward to it. I look at these numbers and think, "hey, almost 1 in 3 chance (28%) of getting a franchise player!"

Unfortunately there's a better chance of getting stuck with an under-sized chucker (Gordon or Bayless at #5) than there is of getting that franchise player.

I am not as optimistic as some of you seem to be. I think we will get either the 4th or 5th pick.

I think Stern finds out that McHale/Taylor signed Gomes to an illegal under the table contract and we lose our pick this year.

come on guys,

you know we'll draft the right guy (Mayo) and get all excited only to see him traded thirty minutes later to New York for the OTHER player McHale really coveted, an undersized two guard (i.e. Bayless or Gordon) who will then miss half of his second season with an injury (a la Shad & Foye.)

Jeesh, I thought you guys knew how our draft strategy worked by now.

You forgot the part where Mayo leads New York back to respectability and makes it to multiple all-star games after winning rookie of the year.

I did the ESPN mock lottery thing and the first time I got this

1. Bobcats-Beasley
2. Heat-Rose
3. Sonics-Lopez
4. T'Wolves- ANTHONY FREAKIN RANDOLPH!!!????!!!!!!!

We passed on OJ Mayo at 4 for Randolph? Why can I actually imagine this happening?

Sorry for double posting but I felt this needed to be seperate

Say we land the worst case scenario #6 pick. Beasley, Rose, Mayo, Lopez, and Bayless are gone. No trades, who do you take?
