Irrelevant. If a guy calls himself by said nickname (as LeBron calls himself King James), it doesn't matter where the nickname came from.

Hell, his mom named him LeBron; he didn't select it. Where's the insight in that argument?

Of course it's a loftier nickname. Mostly because it's actually a nickname.

KG, T-Mac, and CP3 are the lamest nicknames in the history of nicknames. What unoriginal jagoff thought of those?

Those aren't even nicknames, they're abbreviations.
