Well I am up for anything because the game has already lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. If the majority of the people feel it should be before the 30th then by all means lets do it. Hopefully it'll push people to update their roster pages so we can get the the draft order sorted out soon.
As for what sterncohen said:
All drafting is speculative anywayz. In a perfect world we would all have the time to thoroughly search youtube for videos of all of our prospective draftees. To be quite honest, with the amount of picks you have that would take forever.
But alas, this isn't a perfect world. But between nbadraft.net, hoopshype.com, espn.com, yahoo.com (sports section), draftexpress.com, countless newspapers, magazines, and other websites we do have a lot of resources at our disposal.
As for what sterncohen said:
I'd prefer after June 10 - if we wait, we'll draft with much better information from pre-draft camp and workouts. But whether we wind up doing this soon or waiting, let's please choose a time when those of us who work can participate, preferably on a weekend afternoon.

Alright guys, we've made a decision regarding the draft. It will be taking place this Thursday at 5 PM. In the 1st round everyone will receive 2 hours to make their draft choice (grace period between midnight and 7 AM) and in the 2nd round 1 hour. If you are unable to make your scheduled timeslot you can send either myself or zong a draft list (make sure to incl. as many people as possible just in case someone drops). We will be making a draft thread which should be put up soon with times (which will be in the EST timezone for those outside it). If you have any questions/concerns feel free to ask them in this thread.

I do not think this is a great time for the draft. Considering how many people are probably away with the holiday weekend, it is awfully short notice to have the draft (roughly 48 hours).

Well guys, we did a vote, and according to my count:
7 voted in favour of May 30th
6 voted in favour of June 10th
2 voted in favour of "I don't care"
Just because you guys did not choose to reply to the vote, that really isn't our problem. I understand it's a difficult time for a few people, but June 10th is an equally difficult time for others. My vote is included in the 7 in favour of having it now.

Well in all fairness it shouldn't have even been that close. I voted that I don't care but I clearly prefer to do this sooner rather than later.
