:S miller is valuable for us. if you want miller you must serve a usefull defensive player. and we need no Knicks player at this time i think.

I think Miller would thrive in D'Antoni's system. However, the Grizz aren't letting him go for that deal.

The only deal that crosses my mind to get MMiller to NY is the following:

MMiller, Collins, Cardinal, #28
for
Curry, Jeffries, Crawford, #6

Memphis helps NY rid itself of two of their contracts that extend past 2010.

Or...
MMiller, Cardinal, Collins
for
Randolph, Crawford, #6

Randolph in da house? i dont like that idea :(

But i love crawford... And i also like the idea of the #6.

If we got #5 & #6 i think we would get a good player at least, there wont mistakes like conley.

Um, your bugging like the dumb ass knick fan that posted that first trade. This deal does not go down. IF that 6th pick is included, prepare to add one of your pg's or warrick to this deal and it may be considered. We aint handing lotto picks away

I think Knick fans are delusional if you don't think that Walsh will deal the #6 pick if he can get rid of two contracts that extend past 2010. I will be EXTREMELY shocked if NY exercises the #6 pick in this draft without a trading it before the night is over.

Or since you're under the cap, how about Miller and Cardinal for Rose and Collins.

What would you want for Mike Miller

Certainly not that deal.

No one is giving up their lottery pick and their best player to get Mike Miller.

For NY it is not just about getting Miller. It is about making ridiculous contracts disappear before the summer of 2010. Do people in NY even listen to what their new GM is saying???

Well I guess to give a little insight to Millers value a little more, it was just reported by Blazers play by play announcer that Memphis offered Miller to Portland for Travis Outlaw and the 13th pick (fillers). Portland turned it down, but just figured Id throw that bit of info your way

LBusiness... please have the decency to clean up that crap before posting it.

But when I waded through it to figure it out, I realized that I was wading through crap.

So Memphis trades three useful players and a lump of crap for two useful players (that play the same position) and two lumps of crap. WOW... sign me up!

This seems like a pretty lowball counter-offer. I'm not sure how much Memphis values Raef's contract, especially for a good prospect in Conley.
Obviously what Memphis valued was Outlaw, and instead we want them to take Webster? I think if Outlaw is substituted this is probably closer to fair for me personally, but I'm not as attached as a lot of other blazer fans.

Brandon Roy personally asked Kevin Pritchard to bring Outlaw back next year. Outlaw has been working out already this off-season, I highly doubt the Blazers trade him. He is close to untouchable right now... that is the power of Roy's opinion.

I judged Memphis value for LaFrentz as about the same as they valued Kwame. Not quite as much since they already got Kwame, but still good cap relief. Webster, Jack, and the 13th have pretty good value too with how deep this draft is, obviously Memphis is eyeing someone around there.

IMO the trade is useless for grizz. miller and conley is much more valuable. Jack is useless also for us.

this offer's got no legs. Miller and Conley both have at least some value as trade chips beyond just getting rid of Cardinal (as evidenced by the fact that the Grizzlies didn't trade Cardinal/MM for Tricky Ricky/Jwill at the deadline). Jack is of no use to us really, Webster is nice, #13 is decent...but losing MM and Conley to get expirings, a low lottery pick, and Webster is just not enough.

What's stopping Minny from drafting Mayo?
