Just a thought.
I've said this idea before. If Portland doesn't move up, and say Westbrook or Alexander is available (just one), and we know that Portland wants them, we go and force a trade, possibly not with the 27th, but maybe with one of their early 2nd's? 33 or 36.
#12 for #13 & # 36, very realistic. And if Petrie truly is wanting to draft either a Arthur/Speights/Hibbert, the trade is a win win for us.
About Jordan, I still think we should take a gamble and obtain another mid-late 1st and take the kid. Salmons should be able to net us a pick around the range that Jordan will be available. The way I see it, Best case scenario, we find ourselves a top 5 Center in the league. Worst case scenario, we trade Salmons for an expiring. Likely scenario, we find a good backup.
