I had spent eons pondering the lack of voting disparity in this thread, as my cognitive dissonance simply could not get the overwhelming voting for Roy to match my respect for each individual as a basketball player. But then I happened upon a gem of epic proportions. After days spent sifting through the thread for intelligent commentary, this diamond in the rough shone through and above all else. For it was not a statistic or a comparison or a youtube clip. It was an elaborate treatise on the comparative value to each player and his franchise, and how that progression going forward would have Roy creating more value for the Blazers than Wade ever could for the Miami Heat. It showed how the entire 2006 Miami Heat title run was a farce, that Dwyane Wade's elaborate statistical accomplishments were merely a figment of my overactive imagination, and how Brandon Roy is a shining example of what the top-5 pick from 2003 could possibly become. Sir, you have shown me the way.
In light of these revelations, my vote for RealGM post of the year goes to AnSweR07...
